Interests continue to develop from the fringes of kindred spirits of bloggers who have a greater depth of understanding of some topics. Their views are explored for confirmation of empirical logic which theItalia Joe persona uses to navigate his trials and tribulations. Perhaps he shall formulatethought bubbles or provide an opinion to explain his position in the social tsunamis sweeping the Western World.
Italia Joe wants to believe in the ‘Constitutional based Democracy’ that Winston Churchill articulated at the end of WW2. Even if it is beaten up from within or under attack from the usual suspects; communists, the nouveau fascist billionaires, spooks and jihadists, Italia Joe’s voice shall side with Churchill’s ideals.
Over the years, it has been necessary to discard artifacts that once may have had value, but as times change decisions need to be made. The reasons for change are usually based on new information that comes to the surface or has been actively sought after. I have made many transitions in points of view and continue to question the beliefs I develop. Biases are necessary to defend such beliefs, and I’m comfortable entering discussions from such perspectives.
